OJA Operations Update
Like you, we are closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19 and its impact on our activities. We are receiving direction from UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, who have been consulting closely with Toronto Public Health and, like many organizations, taking reasonable precautions to protect the health of our publics, community members, volunteers, and staff.
Updates on the COVID-19 outbreak can be found on the Government of Canada website.
At this time, the OJA is suspending all onsite research visits.
Staff are able to provide remote assistance if necessary, depending on the nature of your request, and any reproduction fees in support of urgent research will be waived until further notice.
If you require assistance, please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org.
We have decided to cancel or postpone all Stories of Spadina walking tours for the month of March and April. While we feel this is unfortunate, we also believe that this decision is best to prevent further spread of the virus to potentially vulnerable publics.
We will be following the direction of Toronto's public health officials in the coming weeks when considering the status of upcoming May tours at that time. We are terribly disappointed that this decision was necessary in light of the current public health situation, but we appreciate your understanding. We apologize for any inconvenience.
We wish continued good health to all, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
