The Tzedakah Box Exhibit was held at the Koffler Loggia, in partnership with the Toronto Jewish Arts Council, on 5 April 2005. The pushkes in that display were part of the rich holdings of artifacts of the Ontario Jewish Archives.  Additional boxes were borrowed from Beth Tzedec’s Reuben and Helene Dennis Museum.  The exhibit was curated by Elana Sadinsky and Aviva Heller and coordinated by Ellen Scheinberg, Director, Ontario Jewish Archives.  Special thanks must go out to Dorion Liebgott, Curator, Beth Tzedec Reuben and Helene Dennis Museum, for lending the artifacts to us and for helping to arrange the items during the original exhibit.

The virtual exhibit relies on the text developed by the curators as well as the professional photographs taken by Dan Ehrenworth.
