Toronto Jewish Heritage Greeting Cards
Available for Purchase

The Ontario Jewish Archives has launched a new product in the form of greeting cards ideal for simchas or other occasions. There are eight cards and envelopes in each box. The box sets are perfect to send out as gifts or to keep for yourself and use for simchas, thank you notes or for general messages or greetings to friends and family.

The cards include historic images on the front such as a bar mitzvah boy from 1899 wearing short pants and a tallis, a boy and girl dressed as a bride and groom during the 1920s, a baby in a wicker carriage that would be ideal for a bris or baby naming event, as well as the photo above, which can be used when sending out cards to inform friends and family about a new baby, a major milestone in one’s life, a promotion or any other important tidbit that you would like to share. The inside of several of the cards include messages that correspond to the themes such as mazel tov! However, several of the cards are blank in order to allow the writer to express their own thoughts. The back of the cards include a full description of the image as well as some historic facts about the subject(s), place or event.

The cards can be purchased for $20 per box by contacting the OJA at:

oja1@ujafed.org
416-635-2008 ext. 5170

All of the proceeds go towards the Archives' work in preserving the records of Ontario's Jewish community.
