The Ontario Jewish Archives will be temporarily closed to researchers from October 1 to December 31, 2024. During this period, our team will be cataloguing and organizing materials that are essential for improving access to our collections. While onsite visits and reference services will be paused, we encourage you to explore our online resources for your research needs: Search the Archives. Please submit your reference request by September 15 to ensure a timely response from an archivist.

Hours
The OJA is open Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (research room closes at 4:30 PM). Friday hours vary by season.
Onsite research is by appointment only and available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Research facilities are closed in observance of Jewish and statutory holidays.
